Fort Augustus has a scenic 9-hole course and a friendly club where they welcome visitors. It is a traditional Moorland Course and is a hidden golf jewel that rewards the visitor. Fort Augustus counts under connoisseurs as the most difficult 9-holes course in Scotland.
There are other challenging courses: three at Inverness, two at Nairn and one at Cawder Castle.
