Inverness offers visitors a wide range of attractions and activities. The River Ness (Scottish Gaelic: Abhainn Nis) flows from Loch Dochfour, at the northern end of Loch Ness, north-east to the mouth of the Beauly Firth at Inverness, a distance of about 6 miles.

You can visit Inverness Castle, the Cathedral and Eden Court theatre and cinema. There is also Inverness Museum and Art Galley , numerous distillery tours in the area and you can even watch the Dophins on a boat trip.
